Freo Mono Walk

Date: Sunday 18th May 2025
Meetup: 4:30PM
Location: 47 Mews Rd, Fremantle
Embark on a captivating monochrome photography walk through Fremantle, where history and charm collide.
Our walk commences at Bathers Beach, with its serene coastline and rugged textures, perfect for black-and-white contrasts. We will then meander towards the iconic Round House, capturing the interplay of light and shadow on its heritage architecture.
Our stroll concludes along the historic section of High Street, where the timeless facades of colonial buildings reveal stories etched in stone.
Each monochrome image tells a story, transcending color to highlight Fremantle’s soul through stark tones and striking composition. What an evocative visual journey!
Visit the Shutterpups Events page for more details. Event updates are provided via Facebook Messenger and, upon request, via email.
This event will be free for financial members and have a small fee for Facebook members & friends, and members of photography clubs affiliated with WAPF.
Please register on Eventbrite.

Shutterpups stages monthly themed shoots around the Perth metro and outer metro regions. At least once a year we also plan a (long) weekend event further afield. The main aims of our events is to grow your skills by socialising and interact with other photographers. No matter your experience or gear, there is always something new to learn. There are many different types of events, so there is sure to be one that suits your interest: fast-paced sports; gentle landscapes; macros; or seeing the world in monochrome – we try to make the events as varied as possible.
